Stuff Animal Lei For the Graduate

We have another graduate in the family! This time it is Koala Bear. She was so excited for this day! So were we! She has been working so hard in pre-school and even though she has another whole school year until she can go into kindergarten, she is already reading! Hurray for Montessori curriculum and an amazing teacher.

Lady Hiva said she was sporting "Trump" hair...I said it was "Ariel hair"

It makes me happy when we go into a store and both our Little Muggles beg to stop by the book section. I hope that never changes.

When Lucky Dragon graduated from pre-school he wanted a Cars lei. So Koala Bear said she wanted stuffed animal lei. It was fun to make such a non-traditional lei for her. I then decided to also add on a few other leis for her to enjoy!

We had a great time together cheering her on as she marched with her class and received her diploma. She was so proud of it all. All year her thing was to give gum to all her friends as they were done with school. So I made her some packs of gum to give to all her friends to say goodbye (most of them move on to kindergarten). It was so much fun watching her enjoy giving to the little people she has learned to love this year.

She had been so nervous to attend school. It was really the first time to be away from either parent or her brother. She was all on her own.  But as the year progressed she learned to love it and would be sad on the days when Lucky Dragon had school and she didn't. HAHA

We made some cupcakes to share with her class and Koala Bear was SO excited that Pluba and her cousins came to see her graduation and then play for the day.

I wanted to go extra for Koala Bear!! Lady Hiva was so embarrassed. She kept telling me to stop as I brought out more and more leis! HAHA meh...who cares if "everybody is watching" I am celebratin my little girl!

This was the fun right before the peed on my sofa!!! grrr...thank goodness that someone was inspired to invent vinegar and bleach...those two saved the day (and my olfactory system)
