Spider Scavenger Hunt at the Butterfly Biosphere

Thanksgiving Point has a butterfly biosphere and it was so great to go and enjoy it!~ On top of the other activities that kids can do, there are plenty of bugs to watch and hold.

Lady Hiva signed us up for a scavenger hunt as a family. We went from activity to activity just enjoying the time exhibits. We had to put clues together about the bugs and spiders. The kids did crafts and had a fun time watching all the bugs on display. They even held stink bugs!!

Lucky Dragon wanted to enact the full lifecyle of a butterfly for us. He crawled as a worm, curled up in a chrysalis and then flew away as a butterfly! HAHA

After we solved the scavenger hunt, we went into the butterfly zone. It was so fun to be in there. The tropical plants reminded us of home in Hawaii and there were hundreds of butterflies. They said they release 150 butterflies a day!!
