SUMMER: Hikes, Pools, Parades, and Fireworks

This has been an amazing summer so far! We have been trying to make the best of it with two working parents. We spend time in the pool--a lot of time--and we eat shave ice as often as possible! In between those times we tend the bunnies, go on hikes, eat watermelon and corn, and any other fun we can find.

We did a short hike up to Battlecreek Falls in Pleasant Grove. It was such a beautiful hike.

Both muggles have been taking swimming lessons. I am shocked how well they are both doing! Koala Bear is working on her front stroke and can almost swim the length of the pool. She is determined to succeed. She pushes herself to be better and better. I am proud of her.

Lucky Dragon has perfected his front stroke and is currently working on butterfly stroke and flip turns. He glides through the water so easily. I hope that he continues to like swimming.

This boy is always reading. If we have some downtime he has a book. I love this about him.

Koala Bear taught herself to flip. I am stunned at how elegant she makes it look!

The Fourth of July was amazing. We at good food all weekend, spent everyday (except Sunday) at the pool. Had fun with neighbors and cousins with fireworks.

We went to Provo for the parade and that is becoming a tradition of its own!
