Christmas and Cemetaries in Luxembourg

We made it to a country that we had never been to! We have driven passed it several times over the years, but never made it into the city--Luxembourg. Christmas time was the best time to go! It was one of the Christmas markets still open and for all the markets we explored, this one was best for the kids.

Before we made it to the markets though, we stopped at an American WWII Cemetery. It was a perfect place to show our patriotism and honor those who fought for freedom. It was COLD though! SO COLD! There are over 5000 service men and women buried here. They fought hard to stop the spread of Nazism. There is someone from all 50 states and that includes several sets of siblings that are buried next to each other.

There are 4 different markets around the city. We made it to two of them. And it was perfect. At one we ate bratwurst, hot cocoa, and chocolate dipped fruit. The other we rode rides and at waffles and more hot cocoa!

Again, I had to cover my cold nose! This one was soft, but it kept getting small fibers into my nose, eyes and mouth. I only kept it long enough to find another one!

All of the kids wanted to do the bungee trampoline! They had fun challenging themselves to do flips. I was impressed with both Muggles and how hard they could flip!

Got some air in this jump. He was not sure he wanted to try a flip at first. But once he experienced it he could not stop.

Luxembourg was a clean and beautiful city with an amazing Christmas market to enjoy. It was definitely worth the drive.
