Back to Brugge

Those of you who have read the blog over the years know that Brugge, Belgium has long been one of our favorite towns in Europe. It did not disappoint this time either. It was fun to be there this time with some friends to share a place we love.

We walked around the city and loved the blue sky and sunny weather. But the wind was bitter cold. We took refuge in a cathedral while we all thawed.

All the kids loved the parks we passed. It was as if they could not even feel the cold! They played and played until their fingers were red and we had to force them to leave.

We stopped and bought some Belgian waffles on the street.

They had the Christmas Market still open. That was a surprise  for us. We did not know it would be. We walked around the market for awhile and then went into the city hall building that was open for tourists to see. The art and architecture were amazing. So many places to look and explore.

This other church had a swing in the middle. I talked Lucky Dragon into come and try it out with me.

This old building had a window right into the men's restroom. For some reason these three thought it was so amusing. I had to take a photo of them watching. haha

We stopped in many of the chocolate stores in the area!

No trip is complete without a stop at a grocery store!
