Our last Olympic stop --to complete ALL of the venues-- was Milan. It was again, so WARM! We loved seeing the iconic Duomo. We saw the media room for the US and were outside as the USA women's hockey team was on live TV. We could see them from the windows!
The colors from the stained glass was spectacular.
This is a depiction of St. Bartholomew. He was flayed alive so the artist showed him with now skin and the skin was draped around his shoulders. The back had his face and hair. A bit morbid but still so technically difficult.
We stood at the windows for a long time seeing what Bible stories we recognize.
All the venues we made it to on our Olympic tour!
The famous arcades of fashion.
Another grocery store. This was the largest bell peppers we have ever seen!
Lake Como at sunset as we drove towards Switzerland. With Switzerland and France (to stop at Costco) we completed a 5 country journey!
