Olympics: Verona

Our Olympic journey next took us to Verona. To say that the weather change and the cultural change from the mountain villages to Verona was so drastic. We were all wearing short sleeves. We walked around the city and saw where the closing ceremony was going to be.

We stopped at the Bauli factory. Lady Hiva has fallen in love with Bauli baked products while here in Europe. It was fun to see where they are made and get some of the "factory seconds" that were cheaper but still delicious.

We spent most of our time at the edge of the river throwing rocks, of course.

We went to Guilette's Balcony (Juliet). It is of course, the fabled place mentioned by Shakespeare. But nevertheless is a HUGE tourist site. The got rid of the gum walls that we saw last time. Thankfully, that was gross.
