Exploring Universal Studios in Singapore

When we found out I was going to Singapore on a surprise trip, Lady Hiva and the kids wanted to come.  We found some fun things to do. We stopped at a tourist booth at the airport and bought a package with all the activities we wanted to experience. The first on the list was Universal Studios.  We wanted to do that pre operation so I could participate.  It was so much fun.

In many ways it made us all feel like we were at home in the USA.  The dinosaur rides had all kinds of facts about dinosaurs in Utah. And everything revolves around US culture.

We rode every single ride we could. Koala Bear was disappointed we could not ride the two big rollercoasters because she was just a little bit too short. As in just 1/4 of an inch. I wanted to still take her. Lady Hiva was adamant we would not! Haha.

This was also our first taste of it being Christmas. We loved seeing the decor and hearing the Christmas carols. Little did we know how much Singapore would be decorated.

These two love minons. They were so happy to see that much of the part had minons to meet and see.

It was snowing...snoap-ing...haha

These three loved the chocolate stores that reminded them of our trip to Hersey Pennsylvania.  And the Lego stores in the US. It makes me glad we travel with out children because they have memories like this about trips we have taken.

They are troopers. We left Mumbai at night. Didn't really sleep and then spent a day at a theme park. They are die hard too! No complaining, no whining, just fun. I love travel with my little family.

We were so amazed how clean and quiet Singapore is. Even the bus stop was clean and quiet.

The hotel gave them both a tiger as we checked in. Such amazing service.
They are both obsessed with Gudetama, the lazy egg cartoon from Japan. They have been for years. This trip just solidified their love for it.

It was a great way to start our surprise trip! A good respite from the craziness of life!
