When you realize that your time remaining in a certain place is winding down quickly, you try to find ways to get out and explore. Spring is finally arriving in the area. I can tell because it is warmer...AND that DC allergies always plague me during the Spring! (so annoying) For the most part the days are amazing to get out and explore. Sometimes it is a bit too cold. The one snow storm on a weekend was a bummer! It was NOT fun to be out that day! Can't it snow on a work day?!
We took the kids over to National Harbor to meet the Giant! It was fun watching them explore and climb. They did not want to leave and begged to go back when we did.
We have tried to be outside as much as possible. We love seeing the small petit Spring flowers and all of the trees and birds making their colorful appearances.
We had some Spring BBQs and Lady Hiva tried to take a covert photo of me and my "Bright" clothes! HAHA
I love to walk to pick up the kids from school and them go "exploring" with them on the way back. We are able to find some amazing things together! It is a great chance to learn about their personalities etc.
