We continued our weekend in Amsterdam and Giethoorn. We always love Amsterdam--good food, good shopping, great museums. Giethoorn is something that I have wanted to do for years. I am glad that we did it! We also made it to the beach! It was a bit cold to get int, but that did not stop our Muggles from getting in.
We found a park with a lake. Again, it was only a few minutes until both Muggles were accidently in the water too!
We at a pancake house, it was delicious.
We had to stop for profferjies too. No stop in Amsterdam is complete without good fries and some profferjies.
I told Lady Hiva that this was the most iconic Amsterdam photo ever. It has all the basics, the row houses, canals, bikes, and tulips!
Giethoorn was was highlight of the trip. It is a village that has only canals, no cars. We rented a small boat and spent the day exploring the canals and the lake. It was so much fun except for the really BAD boat drivers that were in the canal with us.
Both muggles wanted a chance to drive once we were out in the lake. It was fun to see them enjoy it.
I was trying to move so Lucky Dragon could drive and I fell down in between the seats...could not get back up! Lady Hiva decided to take a photo before she helped me. Hahah
