I saw this meme and laughed out loud! It is so true at our house. Halloween was amazing, the weather was beautiful and both Koala Bear and Lucky Dragon ended up with LITERALLY MOUNTAINS of candy. We had to keep dumping the candy into the wagon because their buckets were so heavy. I can say that I was so happy with the homes that gave non-candy items. Coloring books and stickers seemed to be a win with both our muggles. Koala Bear especially loved the "stickas!"

It was fun to see them run from house to house. She kept going and going, nothing was stopping her from collecting the candy. I often call her a "candy Niffler" because she can find candy in the most random places where we did not even know it existed. So when people were giving her candy she was so excited. It was cute to see her waddle up to the door, knock and then say "Hi" as she reached in to get candy out of their bowl. Completely disarming, they did not even say anything as she grabbed a handful. Of course, Lucky Dragon, now reading was VERY concerned that we could only take one or two pieces as the sign says. If any of us took more than that we heard about it all the way down the sidewalk--what a TRAGEDY!

Lady Hiva and Lucky Dragon took down all the Halloween decor and when I came home from work we put up the Christmas Tree (three of them anyway). It was raining and cold all day so I was so glad I put up the Christmas lights on the house last week. Lucky Dragon kept saying, "Isn't is so great? We had Halloween, we went to sleep and now it is Christmas!" I love this kid. Koala Bear was obessed with pointing out "Buttch" (Pumpkins) and has now stared to point out the "Stah" (star) and the "No-man" (Snowman) that she sees. It should be a fun holiday season.
So bring on the celebration of Christmas!
