Father's Day Weekend!

We had so much fun for Father's Day weekend. We were able to just spend time with the four of us...Hallelujah! It was sunny and beautiful.

It started on Friday night and we went for a drive. It was meant to be a short drive ...but we ended up driving through a whole bunch of small pioneer era towns that, to be honest, look like they have not changed much since those times!

One of them was Ophir, UT. Which apparently thanks to the railroad and a mining industry used to be a happening place. We were surprised how cute of a little town it is. We explored the small town center and stopped to enjoy the nature. We were glad that we had Rocket, so we could just drive right through the river that was overflowing into the road. We will have to come back here and camp a few nights.

So many rocks to collect

On Saturday we went to Lindon swimming pool. It was so much fun. It is just big enough to accommodate a whole bunch of people without being too packed. There are plenty of things for the kids to do. These two are brave kids. Koala Bear would jump in, swim back and then jump in again. Lucky Dragon was independent (his choice) the whole time. They did not want to get out of the water. By the time we left, they were both exhausted.

We ate at a BBQ joint, they bought me some Sees's Chocolate (they said that I always eat Lady Hiva's so I should have my own...haha) and some cologne. Our last stop was the Lego store where we bought the Disney Castle to put together as a family.

It was a wonderful weekend. Glad that summer has FINALLY arrived! Lady Hiva's flower garden looks amazing!
