"Hands Up Everybody!" The Ride Is Starting!

We spent two days at Disneyland and loved it. It was unplanned, but we had so much fun. These two Muggles are troopers. Keys to success include renting a double stroller that reclines for naps, alternating rides with shows to enjoy the air conditioner, and over all striving to NOT be drama! We booked our hotel right next to Disneyland as we drove down--got a good price too.

We rode every ride we could--wait times were 30 minutes or less. We ate some amazing food. We walked through nearly EVERY store (especially if they sold some sort of sugar rush...those are Lady Hiva's favorite)
Halloween season was starting! Lady Hiva was so excited. Lots of ideas for decor around the house.

This is the way they traveled when we did not have a stroller! HAHA

I was literally buying tickets on my phone as we were on the tram to the park entrance! Day #1 was at Magic Kingdom.

We always seem to ride "It's A Small World" first whenever we are in a Disney park. Maybe we just like to sing the song in our heads the rest of the day! HAHA

She was memorized! She did not remember the

The only downside to going when we did is that Haunted Mansion was down until next week for the Halloween season.

This little guy is SO brave...even if his face does not say that!

She is so independent, she wanted to buckle all the seatbelts herself. She would also declare, "Hands up!" As each ride began.

We went to Disneyland Hotel to Goofy's Kitchen. This has become a tradition for us when we are in California. Luckily, they had one slot open for the day we wanted to go!

These two were so excited to see Goofy! Koala Bear said, "Goofy! You make my brekfas?"

My birthday cupcake! (that I did not eat)

These three were so excited for Mickey Waffles. Later Lucky Dragon said, "Those Mickey Waffles were so HARD! Kind of like this (and he taps his magnet Mickey Waffle on the car window). Mum, yours are so much better"

The two of them loved visiting with the Characters. Such a rush free place to do it. Koala Bear must have decided it was odd they characters were not talking to Lady Hiva and I so she said, "Chip, Look! That is my mum and dad!" hahah.

They were both so excited they could not hold still.

Usually she does not wear things on her head long. But she wore these Minnie ears all day!

The Disney Junior Dance party was perfect. Use of the energy while we sat in Air conditioning.

Frozen Live! Broadway standards. The music was amazing, the scenes and acting were spectacular!

The talking parts are SO boring! Bring on the music

 "Arms up!"

Getting ready for Disney's Philarmagic--a 4D. This has always been one of my favorites!

Little sister gets and ice cream while Lucky Dragon rides with me on a rollercoaster.
Koala Bear and I went to talk with Crush while Lady Hiva and Lucky Dragon rode the "big roller coasters"

So...this is the Ghirardelli chocolate store. They had this new thing where you could fill a Halloween plush bag with chocolate for a flat price. Someone did not think that through. They estimated about 40 pieces. Did you know plush stretches?!? and if you pack really well, you can get far more than 40 pieces. I know...because I did. 64 in fact! haha. And I do not even like that much chocolate, it is merely the challenge that got me!

This little girl is in her element--sparkly purses and stuffed animals!

Donald stopped taking photos with guests to play cars with Lucky Dragon. It is moments like these that make the "Disney Magic"
