Every year in November the United States Marine Corp celebrates their birthday anniversary. At US missions abroad that celebration happens with a formal ball. It is an evening packed with patriotism and delicious food.
It was fun to dress up. This year Lady Hiva and I decided to wear traditional Indian clothes. She found a gorgeous green and gold gown and I did a white shirvani. Both were bejeweled and sparkling.
It gave us some more excuses to go they on some more amazing clothes.
Koala Bear loved all the bangles.
Her hair was getting so long Lady Hiva cut it. It is much easier to braid now!
This girl watched Lady Hiva buy her makeup and wanted so badly to try it all when they came home.
It was a fun evening. One that we enjoyed so much!
