Celebrate Being in the USA With a Trip To Walt Disney World

We landed in the USA, left our bags in DC and flew out the next morning (5hours later). We wanted to spend some time in Florida. It is a place that we all love and we have the passes, so why not?! We also like to do school shopping there. It is so much cheaper and has some cool tax rebates for school supplies.

Being in Disney is great. We have a combination of trying new things and all of us doing things we love to do every time. Thanks to the ride systems now (not that I like paying for them but...) we were able to ride all the rides we wanted to, some of them several times! And most days we were done by noon and went out to shop etc in Orlando.

One day it was summer decor and the next when we showed up, the autumn decor was going up!

We ate dinner at the Polynesian. One of our favorite places to eat. Then we watched the firework show. That is one of Lady Hiva's favorite places to watch the fireworks.

Breakfast at Topolinos is a favorite for our family. We get to see all of the characters and have some time with each of them.

These two were so excited to take a photo with the new Walt Disney statue. Thanks to our collective love of Disney and all of the Imagineering shows on Disney+ that we watch while overeas, Walt is a person talked about often in our home.

We finally did Moana's Journey of Water! It was a fun way to take a break and explore the magic of technology together.

One of our really good friends from Mumbai was in Florida. We were so happy that we were able to eat lunch with her.

We were there when Hurricane Debbie made landfall. We got so wet several days in a row! But we still had fun.

Koala Bear offered to do Lady Hiva's hair one night. She thought she was be a hair stylist and did many interconnecting braids...it took us a LONG time to untangle it!

These two Muggles and I made some hats that we had embroidered. I love the way they all turned out! I told them that I wanted to just take theirs for me too. Lucky Dragon was happy that his did not fit me. But Koala Bear and I still squabble over me getting hers.

She was so excited that she found this sequin dress that "mom would LOVE!" LOL...you don't know your mum very well, my friend. HAHA

Lady Hiva spent a good 20 minutes in the Wal-Mart baking aisle. You can tell we were deprived of easy access to quality baking products.

Watching the Elsa show in Hollywood studies has become one of my favorite things to do. I like to see the different personalities of the actors come out.

We were able to ride the new Tiana's Bayou Adventure ride~ We loved it! We all still love Splash Mountain and we are glad we rode it in Japan but, this was amazing!

We also loved the new Bear Jamboree! None of us liked the last version...we had a 5 year old that would break out into song..." Blood on my saddle...blood all around..." Not a good look in public! hahah. The songs in the new version are more fitting.

One of the Muggles' favorite things to do is the pirate scavenger hunt! They love running around Adventure Land finding clues to Pirate treasure.

Lady Hiva has always wanted to do the Behind the Seeds tour through Living with the Land. This tour is so cool because it combines the science behind ecology and new sustainable growing practices. We all enjoyed the experience.

Hmmm...I may like color...! HAHA
