I was so glad that we had a chance to spend time with family in Utah as we prepared for our niece, Fatai's wedding. It was a great break for all of us to be with family and out of the political drama of DC. A bit of a respite. The kids spent the entire time with cousins. We worked together, played together, and had so much fun together.
We did flowers, blew up balloons, made food, told stories, set up tables, and laughed. It was so good to work as family to make it all come together.
All hands on deck! We all took a few parts of the work. Before you knew it, we had it all done.
