A Weekend Trip to Disney World--Why not?!

We wanted to use our annual passes one more time before we left the country. And since we were in Florida already, why not take a few days at Disney World!?! It was hot, but not quite July hot yet. We had so much fun riding all of our favorite rides and exploring the area.

I think now we not only love going on the rides to experience them ourselves, but we all enjoy watching other people go on the rides with us who have never been on the rides before. The magic of Disney World really is in the people you go with and the people you meet while you are there.

These two were always happy to find water wherever we went. If there was water, they were splashing in it. It was dual purpose--entertainment and hours long cooling. (although wet shoes and sweaty feet make for some ripe smells at the end of the day) haha

The two Muggles wanted to ride together. It was fun to see that they had planned on how to pose for the photo! HAHA

Lady Hiva's favorite part of Disney is all the food and treats! So I am sure you know who took this photo!

One of our favorite rides in Pandora! The theming is really well done and the ride is amazing.

Took a photo of the tree and apparently this woman thought she wanted to be in our photo! HAHA

We love riding Soarin' and it is a family goal to make it to all the places shown in the film. We are off to a good start! We have been to several of them already. Ironically, we are missing a few of the US landmarks, but have been to many of the international ones!
Living with the Land is a family favorite. We loved how this time they had put up small displays to represent some of the Disney Princesses.

Lady Hiva was SO excited that there was fruit on the Mei tree!

We happened to be at EPCOT for the Flower and Garden Festival. That is Lady Hiva's favorite time to be there. They have amazing flowers all over the park and even the statues are made out of flowers and plants. We all love exploring the area.

The Butterfly garden was a hit! It was beautiful AND had some science lessons included!

These two wanted to know what Lady Hiva was doing with her "data pad" when she was taking a photo of them off in the distance. They walked right over to her to "question her antics." Koala Bear took a photo with them after her mum passed the interrogation.

He is longing to go into the cemetery! HAHA

Guardians of the Galaxy is BY FAR our favorite ride at Disney. We had so much fun. The rollercoaster is fun, the music is even better!

One of the favorite places for all of us on the entire property is the Polynesian Resort. It is a perfect place to eat and relax at the end of a long day. The kids dig in the sand and we can watch the fireworks for Magic Kingdom without all the people!

They had so much fun. But I think we brought half of the beach home to the hotel in their pockets. It took me quite a while to get it all out so we could wash the clothes!

They were brave to try all of the soda flavors from around the world. Lucky Dragon like the banana flavored soda from Madagascar. Koala Bear liked the Korean Joy soda!

Potatoland shirts in Potatoland! We had so many people comment on our shirts!

Lucky Dragon specifically requested a photo in "the perfect spot." We were happy to oblige because usually it is just a fight to get them to take a photo!

Nature is really amazingly beautiful!

I made a tiny dragon head out of lettuce while we were waiting on our food! HAHA.

It was a great trip to all of us. A quick weekend get away. We had to drive many hours to make it happen, but it was all worth it!
