Picking Summer Peaches

With all the new houses going up all over Utah, some of the last remaining parcels of land are orchards. Luckily, we found one orchard that is still in tact (at least partially). They allow people to come and pick their own peaches, tomatoes, peppers, and a variety of squash. We decided to brave the CRAZY hot weather and go pick peaches midday! It was hot...we were all sweaty and thirsty when we finished, but it was so much fun.
We rode the tractor wagon from the parking lot up to the top of the orchard. I was glad that we have a few umbrellas in the car at all times. It allows for some shade on unexpected hot adventures!

When we were out in the field, our box of peaches did not seem like a lot! But when we came home to take care of them we realized we had SO many peaches!
