Koala Bear decided to be baptized a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints! It was a day she looked forward to for years. We were so excited for it to arrive and for family to be here with us.
It was a beautiful day. Koala Bear asked all the people she wanted to to participate. She had Pluba give the talk, Lady Hiva and Lucky Dragon were the witnesses and I baptized her.
We wanted to find her a beautiful dress. We looked everywhere and could not find one that had sleeves. We finally found one at a Qinceanera dress shop. Sadly, the one we bought was a bit too fitted so I went back to grab another one that was a better size. I was proud that I made it down to get it and back during my lunchtime! She looked beautiful. SO many people commented on how she looked like a princess in her dress. (A princess with a bruise from trying to do gymnastics on a frozen skateboard park!) We went to eat dinner together. We loved having Papa and Pluba here. Leni and four of her kids also made it. It was such a breath of fresh air to be together. They were all so helpful the day of the baptism. They helped with food and decorations and clean up!
Lucky Dragon was also ordained a Deacon in the Priesthood. He is such a tall and handsome guy!
We are so proud of them both! Crazy to think that they are both growing to the age that they are doing these milestones.
These kids spent as much time together as they possibly could! We had so much fun!
All Koala Bear wanted to do for her birthday was go to a trampoline park. That was so much fun to watch. These two are amazing athletes.
We did a mad few nights touring Washington, DC with Leni and her kids. It was so great to show them around. We saw the monuments and all the big sights and a few of the museums. It was cold but we loved it all. Most of all just being with the family and laughing.
