Horses, Pumpkins, and Carmel Apples

This week we were able to go down to Beaver and spend time with Papa, Pluba and cousins. We do not  make it down very often so our kids see this as a special treat. I find it funny that for being someone that grew up on a farm my children truly are city people. Koala Bear is so excited to look out the window as we drive and squeal with delight at every horse and cow she sees.

We made our way to the fields every day that we were there. Papa had to go water the horses. So we tagged along. There are plenty of them to pet and admire. From old horses that have been in the family for years to new colts. Koala Bear went with me to pick apples up from a neighbor and we all fed apples to the horses.

Lucky Dragon and I went with Beau-D and Papa to the BYU Football game *gasp*. It was not a UofU game, but it was still fun to be there with Lucky Dragon. It was cold, rainy and snowy...but we went and strove to build relationships! I even wore blue poncho--Lucky Dragon told  me that it does not have a BYU logo on it so it does not mean we root for BYU. It only makes us "blue Dementors." HAHA. My little guy is so funny.

 Look at the SNOW!!!
Lady Hiva decided that she wanted to make caramel apples. She got a good recipe from Mindy Gale via Madre. It was so good she made a second batch a few days later.

Koala Bear was so excited to pretend that she was the dentist at the office.

She also has learned to vacuum this week. She would only do it if she was wearing her Jasmine heels.

Of course we could not go without some more time at Cornbelly's!
