Nothing To Do? Find An Old Haunted House To Stay In For The Weekend

We were going to go down to Beaver again to help Beau-D and we decided to take some of the nieces and nephews with us. Next thing we know, we are having an impromptu family reunion! It was so much fun! We were on the go the entire time. We all came back a few shades darker!

We rented one of the old homes in Beaver. They have done well to upkeep it. Outside is a newly painted Victorian home. Inside is the quirkiness that you would expect of a home built in 1800's and then upgraded as years go by. The decor, the wall-paper, the uneven squeaky floors, the furniture is all part of the experience. We decided that it was haunted hahaha. That does not bother Lady Hiva and I, but her family would not sleep in the upstairs.

We played hide-and-go-seek in the dark...that was fun! There are plenty of odd closets and doors that lead to nothing (we decided that is where they left the bodies).

I brought up a doll from Heather's house and passed it around from room to room. They were SO freaked out about it!

We then went up to Madre and Kell's house to play in the yard. Of course with most family games, it has a touch of torture added to it. HAHA

Ginger brought over bubbles and became the most popular person in the yard!

We went on drives from one farm place to another. Most often I ended up with all the little kids in the van with me and we blasted the music...singing ELSA at the TOP OF OUR LUNGS. That was really fun when we went to "drag Main" on Friday with the rest of the town. To help with the social distancing problem, they all drive around and wave at each other. We rolled down the window and sang Elsa to everyone that was listening. I am sure we embarrassed the teenagers, but it was still really fun!

We went down to hold the puppies, feed the peacocks/ducks/geese, and run around.

No stop in Beaver is complete without some cheese and icecream from the Creamery. They were all impressed.

After feeding horses and seeing cows, sheep and dogs, Fatai changed the water with me...getting the full farm life exeperience.

After playing in the muddy irrigation pond, we went for a drive up the mountain. We made it all the way to the top and could not go any further because the snow was still really deep. One of the reservoirs was clear and beautiful though. We had so much fun.

That was not enough water for us, so we then went to spend some time in Minersville Reservoir. It was SO cold! But we still went swimming and fishing. A beautiful day for sure.

Lucky Dragon drew about his weekend.
