Disneyland Paris from Open to Close!

 

We could not be close to a Disney Park and not go in! Right?! 

It was Disneyland Paris' 30th anniversary and we were able to go visit! That makes 3 different Disney parks for us in 6 months. (Disney World Twice). We were happy to be there. Walt Disney World still is our favorite, and we are often comparing the other parks to WDW, but we loved it all the same. 

We were one of the first families in and the park and were the last to leave! 

The park was better than it was 6 years ago when we were here last. It was severely run down last time. You could tell that they have been working hard to keep it up. There were a few rides down that they were refurbishing--most notable for us was It's a Small World. 

One of the things we did like better was the walkways were much wider than WDW and extremely wider than Disneyland California. This helped the park not feel so crowded. Our Muggles loved the Pirate area and we spent several hours just running around and playing in the various areas to hide and run. 

The maze based on Alice in Wonderland was a family favorite too! 

We made it to the Dragon's lare. Last time we were here we missed this stop! 

Tower of Terror was amazing as usual! It is a bit different of a presentation, but we still loved it. 

We happened to be there for 4 MAY...which apparently is the day for Star Wars fans. So we were able to see plenty of fun Star Wars things. Both Lucky Dragon and Koala Bear loved seeing R2D2. 

Phantom Manor was a twist on the Haunted Mansion. We still liked it, but there are some parts that felt like it was cobbled together and I was not sure we followed what was happening. 

Big Thunder Mountain was AMAZING! It has unexpected twists and turns. We also loved how to goat was highlighted. 

The firework show was the BEST! The first time the drones lit up in the sky was magical! 

We were literally some of the last people out of the park. Unlike WDW, the cast members just kicked us out! LOL. We were still trying to shop !! It was a great day! This was the first time that we did not have a stroller and they walked the whole day. I was proud of them!
