Back to Rothenberg-- The Charm Without the Christmas Crowds

 

After the depressing, albeit educational, stop at Dachau, we needed to have something fun to do. We drove towards home but stopped at Rothenberg ob der Tauber so Madre and Kell could see it. They still had all the Christmas Market booths, but the crowds are gone so we nearly had the streets to ourselves. 

Maybe the creepiest Santa we have seen. 

Down one of the small alleyways, there was a large creche set out.
