Lady Hiva just concluded her 37th week of pregnancy! That means that Tau’aho is now considered to be FULL-TERM! That is amazing! We hoped, prayed, worried and stewed that Tau’aho would be healthy and given every chance possible to survive…and with all of your prayers, encouragement, positive thoughts and love we have made it there!
Aleki was our only other baby to be considered full-term, so this is truly a momentous event!
So Tau’aho can come at any time and we would be happy. So far he and Lady Hiva are healthy. They are watching them both closely. Now Lady has made it to this point, she has to start deciding what to do with the cerclage and when to schedule her C-section.
We could not be more thankful. As long as there are no other health problems, Tau’aho will be great!
Lady Hiva finished an afghan quilt she had started in the hospital 4 years ago when she was on bed rest with Vaitafe. A good friend had given her the yarn and needles and a brief lesson on crocheting to start. Sadly, when Vaitafe did not make it the quilt was placed in a drawer with all of his other stuff until now. When we found out Aleki was coming to live with us, Lady started on it again. It was again put away when Aleki left. But in the last week, Lady Hiva has worked on it and finished it for Tau’aho.
|The finished product!|
Full of the love of a mother this quilt was prepared for several babies and hopefully Tau’aho will be able to use it!
We will keep you all updated as the next few weeks progress…we should have a baby anytime now.
